Q: How do I turn off greylisting in SmarterMail?

Greylisting is a powerful antispam function that blocks a high percentage of spam to your account. This feature is on by default, however, it can be overriden by the user by following the instructions listed below. By turning off greylisting you will most likely see an increase in spam sent to your email account.

First go to your webmail account by visiting:

http://webmail.[YOUR DOMAIN NAME]

This will prompt you to login. Enter your full email address and password and click Login.

Move your mouse over the Settings menu at the top of the page and select My Settings.

You will then be presented with several options for your account. Click the checkbox next to Bypass Greylisting and click Save above the tabs. If you need to turn greylisting back on in the future, just uncheck the Bypass Greylisting checkbox and click Save.
